Jordan Addresses Concerns From Nudists About AANR

My last post Bill Schroer Goes on the Record About Being Fired by AANR ignited up a excellent talk and dynamic yet positive discourse (YAY!!!). In the comments section, there were quite a few points brought up by several different people that I thought should be addressed all together in a brand new article. So since the dust has settled a bit, I 'll address these additional concerns here one by one.

So after approaching a number of others, I was left without any official AANR voice that was miserable, but not surprising.
Now, here are a few of the main points / issues that folks brought up.

Since I am no longer an AANR member, some folks had said that I don't have a right to talk about this problem.
Just like I have the right have an opinion about the NRA, I see no reason this same reasoning wouldn't normally use in a field that I am really effective in.
Some had said that I 'm merely out to get AANR.
For the record, I 'm not anti anything. Not even AANR! AANR, in its preceding cycle, has had many wonderful achievements. I simply wish I could say precisely the same about today's AANR. Nevertheless , once they do, I shall function as the first (I hope) to point those out!
I do, however, have strong ideological problems with the way AANR will be run, managed and promoted along with specific policies they enforce (and of course the ones they choose to discount). I will be on the record for differing with their forced membership policies, with the fact that they do not induce 100% AANR clubs conform to 100% of AANR's morals / ethics (as AANR present them), the fact that they are inconsistent with the manner they treat clubs and so forth.
For people who are asserting that I 'm outside to get AANR I 'd only like to say when you'd have read my coverage of the Bill Schroer issue, you'd have seen that I spent a ton of time studying, keeping an open mind and doing my very best to pass along the facts as best I could. All this without any official help from AANR (though not for a lack of trying).
Why even bring up the AANR issue?
Since AANR themselves did not care to address or advise their members on the particulars, I only sought to learn what happened. https://s3.amazonaws.com/2-naturist/beach-sex.html are additionally AANR members and I for one, believe it's essential for us and them to know what AANR is doing.
I chose to share those findings on our web site because I am in favor of foil. Aside from any issues you may have with me personally, if you failed to like the issues in this article then you can take up your concerns with AANR - stop shooting the messenger and begin focusing on the real problems!
Some said that I / FKK haven't tried to help AANR.
For people who called me out for not supporting AANR let me just point out a few facts:
For the last three to four years, I 've been trying to get AANR to do a positive piece about their accomplishments and future aims.
I 've offered to help them with their online dilemmas. The places I felt I could actually influence their organization would function as the facets that pertain to AANR and the web. It is no big secret that AANR has problems in communication, PR, marketing, online standing, social networking and membership outreach. FKK even offers a broader reach and I believed I could help AANR strengthen their foundation and also grow it.
While I believed AANR would be happy to get any help they can, the replies I have gotten from them were less than enthused. https://s3.amazonaws.com/2-naturist/nudism-family.html of times they mocked my offer, other times they only said they appreciated the offer and would ensure that it remains in mind. I also, on quite a few occasions, had to email them a few times only to get someone to e-mail me back (an ongoing problem of theirs).
For those of you who may not know, the internet is where I thrive. I've worked along side companies for example google, yahoo and bing and even beta test their products when they ask me to. So when I offered to help AANR, I was somewhat befuddled by their response. In the "real world" I could charge anywhere from $100 - $500 an hour for my view and yet, AANR saw no value in me or my opinion. So I simply ceased offering.
And furthermore:
We've created good money for different clubs and haven't asked for anything in return. We also signed up lots of our members to AANR. During certainly one of our summer gatherings we even had Jim from Juniper Woods (the president of AANR East at the time) give a talk about why he believes people should support AANR. We do what we can, when we can.
We provide nudist clubs to advertise on our website, yet very few see the worth is spending the $60 / month. I find this strange because we've got an extremely targeted audience and if we were to charge $0.03 per click, we would be making a ton more money! If this were any other sector, we would be making a ton of money merely from advertising sales (and we'd never be charging such a minute amount).
We're now helping one club develop a fresh website for a fraction of what it should cost and we do so happily. They see the value and we want them to succeed!

Resorts and clubs are whining about the decline in memberships and day visits yet they do not seem to be willing to invest in growing their subsequent.
If you ask me, the biggest culprits for why Naturism / Nudism is dropping in the U.S. are the resorts and clubs. Many are not promoting their business and others are going about it in the most back-ass-wards manner potential.
While they do have valid reasons for concern, they're not willing to purchase the time and work we do. An individual's time has value, especially if they can be doing something for someone else. If naturist clubs aren't willing to put money into the radically reduced costs we offer, then why should we help? Yes, we would be sad to see them go but we do need to eat.
And a side note about Nudism and the Internet:
I will keep beating this message until folks start to shift their strategy.
The web is the cheapest and best approach to grow any following. Particularly since many resorts still bill us their day fees even when we go simply to write about them or even when we've events and generate a few thousand dollars for them while making pretty much nothing for ourselves).
So with that in your mind, I'm simply saying that if organizations, naturist clubs and nudist resorts do not start changing their strategy, they'll not survive.
Nevertheless, Naturism and Nudism in and of themselves will survive.
I expect I was able to articulate myself and address the biggest concerns that came about in the Bill Schroer/ AANR problem. Having said that, please comment and I'd like to know if I lost anything.
