All About Minecraft
To download the Minecraft Forge mod loader, visit Minecraft Forge We suggest that you use the installer-win (Or installer if you are using other OS) since it is more user-friendly.
Part 2 : Install Mod Loader Note : Make sure that you have the right Minecraft version installed on your computer prior to installing Mod Loader.
1. To install, start the installer. Click the Install Client button, then click OK.
2. The installer will start updating the version files and then download any required libraries from the internet.
Note : If you are using a cracked launcher, it is high possible that the install process will fail. This tutorial will help you fix it.
3. When you launch the Minecraft launcher, you will discover that a profile called Forge is added into your profile list. You can delete the profile and then create your own profile and choose the Forge version manually. Modded minecraft servers
Optional: You can remove your Forge profile and change the version name to something you prefer. However this requires additional skills, which I won't cover here.
Part 3: Install Mod 1. Check your AppData folder for.minecraft and then open it to look for mods. If you don't see it create one.
2. Google up some mods! I'm trying this Minimap mod. You must ensure that you are running the correct version of the mod installed or it will not work!
Be sure to go through their description, requirements and assistance before installing any mod!
3. Cut/Copy and paste the mod (Usually in a .jar file) into the mods folder within .minecraft.
Part 4 - Loading mods into game Start the Forge Minecraft Version. The screen will show. The screen should display the number of mods that were installed plus 3 If it was installed correctly.
Note 1: You could discover that multiple mods are incompatible if you try to install them all at once. Always check their mod pages for any incompatible mod list. NOTE 2 : It is recommended to install mods one by one to determine which one will crash the game. This makes it easier to fix mod issues.
