Chris Oyakhilome (Nigeria) is a television host, pastor and writer. He is president of the Believers' LoveWorld Incorporated, also known to be Christ Embassy International.



Chris Oyakhilome Background

Pastor Chris Oyakhilome (or Chris Oyakhilome) was born on December 7, 1973, to Tim Oyakhilome as the first child. After his primary and secondary education, he attended Ambrose Alli University (AAU), Ekpoma, Edo State, Nigeria where he obtained a BSc in Architecture.



AAU also granted him an honourary Doctor of Science prize. He also has an honorary doctorate of divinity from the Benson Idahosa University. The Reverend Chris was married to Anita Obhodaghe once, and they have two children.

Chris Oyakhilome Minister

While still in school at AAU Pastor Chris Oyakhilome got involved in ministry. The Believers LoveWorld Fellowship (now Believers LoveWorld Incorporated) was at that time called Youths For Christ.

YFC rapidly grew and eventually became the largest college fellowship. In 1989, Pastor Chris established Believers LoveWorld Incorporated (BLW), alongside Christ Embassy. The church's headquarters is in Lagos. Believer's LoveWorld is now home to millions of followers and associates all over the globe.

Through its 2002 environment for miracles program, BLW was the most popular Christian television ministry in Africa. They stopped airing the program in May 2004, when the president of the time, Nigeria - Olusegun Obasanjo announced that the country's president had resigned Olusegun Obasanjo announced that churches should cease airing miracles on TV.

Pastor Chris's Ministry is comprised of four components: publishing ministry (healing ministry) TV ministry (teaching ministry) and healing ministry (publishing ministry). The Future Africa Leaders Foundation is an initiative that was created to study and develop the leadership potentials of Africans. The foundation acknowledges, honors and assists young African leaders who have made a an impact on the generation they lead. They do this by educating and mentoring youngsters and encouraging youth empowerment.

The foundation acknowledges the achievements of the young leaders with an award ceremony, The Future African Leaders Awards. This ceremony is held at the LoveWorld Convocation Arena(LCA) Billings Way Oregun Ikeja. The President, BLW Reverend Chris Oyakhilome gives an award to the winners.

The InnerCity Mission For Children

The InnerCity Mission to children is a religious-based non-governmental Organisation. In 2005 the NGO was created to help the poor homeless, depressed, orphaned and vulnerable children of .

Through sustainable and participatory interventions, the foundation assists these families and children who are who are in need. This includes programs for child development, childcare, strengthening family programmes, and InnerCity Mission for Children School.

Chris Oyakhilome Family Trauma Care International Foundation
