How to Install Minecraft Maps in Windows 10 (Bedrock).



You can easily install custom map on all Bedrock editions by using.mcworld archive. Double-click the.mcworld folder to open Minecraft and load the new map.



For older files that use the .zip extension, you'll have to extract them and manually move the contents to the minecraftWorlds folder.

How to Install Minecraft Maps on Mac



Just like the Windows Java Edition, to install Minecraft maps on macOS, you'll have to move the map files to the Minecraft saves folder. Start by downloading the .zip file for your map as before. The new map will appear as a new place in the single-player menu. Now you can explore your newly downloaded Minecraft map.



1. Extract the map folders from the archive. 2. Copy the map folder. 3. Open Minecraft Launcher. 4. Go to the Installations tab. 5. How to Install Minecraft Maps On Android (Bedrock).



Installing Minecraft maps on Android is also simple with the new .mcworld extension. Simply open the map file and Minecraft should launch. Older Minecraft maps, on the other hand, might use the traditional .zip format. These maps will need to be unpacked and then pasted into the minecraftWorlds folder. Here's how:

How to Install Minecraft Maps on iOS (Bedrock)



If your map is a.mcworld file, it will work just like the other Bedrock editions. You will need to convert an older map to a.mcworld format if it is in a.zip file. Here's how:



1. First, download Documents by Readdle. Once you have it installed, open Files and tap the.zip file that was downloaded. 2. Documents should prompt you for an unzip location. Select any location you prefer. 3. Once the zip file has been opened, open the extracted map directory and select all the folders within it using the checkmark located in the upper-left corner of the screen. You must select all of them, or this process won't work. 4. Next, tap More on the lower right. 5. Tap Compress in order to compress these files and create an Archive. Once the archive is complete, deselect all files. Tap the check box next the Archive folder and tap Rename at its bottom. 6. Use.mcworld (Archive.mcworld) to rename the file. You will be asked to confirm this change in documents. Do so. Tap Done when you are finished. 7. Next, click the.mcworld folder you just created. Then tap Open in another app and select Minecraft. Next, tap Open in another app and select Minecraft. 8. You should see your new map under the Worlds heading! You're done!
