Minecraft Story Mode Recreation Series From Telltale Mojang

Minecraft: Story Mode - A Telltale Sport Sequence is an episodic, narrative-pushed game collection based in Minecraft's blocky world, coming in 2015 to Pc, Mac, cellular units and what Mojang calls "Xbox consoles" and "PlayStation consoles." We have reached out to Telltale for clarification on platforms.

The sport has an unique storyline that's influenced by the alternatives players make, much like Telltale's different offerings, Tales from the Borderlands, Sport of Thrones, The Wolf Among Us and The Walking Dead. "Telltale's sport collection will combine new characters with acquainted themes, in a completely original Minecraft experience, inspired by the Minecraft community and the sport that continues to inspire a generation," Telltale writes.

Mojang presents somewhat more detail about its strategy to story on its weblog: "We're not intending on creating an 'official' story for Steve, or explaining the world of Minecraft intimately. It will likely be a cool sport."

Mojang revealed the collaboration with a mini-game referred to as Information Quest 2 (which is fairly adorable). Microsoft accomplished a $2.5 billion acquisition of Mojang in November. [Image: Telltale]
