NEW YORK - Sep. 8 2022 /PRNewswire/ The Israel Ministry of Tourism today announced new records for the number of tourists coming to Israel from the United States in July and August. Israel welcomed 78,000 tourists from the United States in July 2022, a 4% increase from the year before and 71,000 travelers from the United States in August 2022 that's an increase of 13% from 2019.

"The United States is our most popular destination for tourism to Israel and prior to the COVID-19 pandemic, we were celebrating record-breaking tourism entry numbers every month. Just like in the United States, Canada is also on track to surpass its tourism numbers in Israel, reaching 7,200 visitors in July 2022 , and 6,000 in August.
