System Restore is your first line defense. It can bring you back to the condition before the issue began, just like a time machine. You can always undo it if it does not work. Read more about it in the tutorial above , and then try restoring to just before this started. Do it now in case System Restore isn't enabled on C drive in order to make it available in the future.

If the problem repeats or System Restore doesn't work then check which Windows Updates were installed at Settings > Update & Security > Windows Updates > Update History, uninstall them there or System Restore again, then immediately check for and block the Updates with the Hide Updates tool explained here: https://www.tenforums.com/tutorials/8280-hide-s...

Even if you have already tried the steps I suggest I suggest you repeat them in the order I suggest.

1) Run the Store app troubleshooter from Settings>> Update & Security> Troubleshoot. Gaming

2) Search for and install game updates in Microsoft Store app > Hub (three dots in the upper right) > Updates.

3) Try resetting Minecraft in Windows Settings > Apps > Apps & Features > Minecraft > Advanced Options > Repair or Reset. Restart your computer and try it again.

If none of these work to work, uninstall Minecraft from Settings, restart your computer, then reinstall MS Store Hub (three dots on the right-hand side of Store app).

4) The driver for the Display is so important that updating it is sometimes not enough. Let's try everything to ensure it's functioning properly:

You can update the driver for your Display via the Display adapter or PC manufacturer's Support downloads page. This will provide you with the exact model number, HP Serial No. or Dell Service Tag - as indicated on the sticker on your PC.

You can also search for BIOS/UEFI firmwares, the latest chipsets, network, sound, and other drivers by right-clicking on the Start Menu.

If this doesn't give you the latest or ideal driver for what you need, compare it to the driver offered by the Intel driver update Utility here: http://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/support/... or the Nvidia Update utility here: http://www.nvidia.com/Download/Scan.aspx?lang=e... or the AMD autodect utility here: http://support.amd.com/us/gpudownload/windows/P...

For Display issues one fix that is working is to Roll back or uninstall the driver on the Display Device > Driver tab, restart the PC to install the driver.

You can also try older drivers by using Device Manager > Display device> Driver tab > Update Driver> Browse > Let me Pick.

Then you'll know you've tried everything except to Windows Update drivers.

You can alter the screen resolution until it looks good. Go to Settings > System > Display.

5) If nothing else helps then contact Minecraft Support here: https://help.minecraft.net/hc/en-us/requests/new

I hope that you find this information useful. Feel free to contact me with any questions and keep me updated. If you're waiting to judge whether my post resolved your problem, I will keep working with you until it's resolved.
