I ran my minecraft launcher through curseforge to obtain a modpack (1.16.5), and the download pace on the launcher appears to be about 3mb per/s and it is taken about 10 minutes to obtain 4mbs out of a 300 mb obtain. This is far too slow compared to my precise wifi speeds. What am i purported to do to repair it?

Was the modpack large?

If it is a popular modpack then it possible is taking some time, with 100s or just mods with say 10+MB (either or each) it is not shocking.

Attempt downloading a smaller pack and see what occurs. Or create your own and check it (additionally if it's downloading the model and different model crucial files before the mods and everything else that's additionally doubtless). SERVER TRACKER

You can also test it with another Launcher

Now, what I would do is connect with Hardwired Wi-Fi, because it is way sooner. Now if that doesn't work, it is likely to be the mob your trying to launch with forge. If in case you have a tons of mods, its would usually take 10 - 15 min to load you up. SERVER TRACKER Now thats what I understand of this.
