We're now making available 1.19.1 for Minecraft: Java Edition. souldevteam.net This release adds Allay duplication as and a brand new Player Safety functionality.



- Allay Duplication - Tweaked Skulk Catalysts. The - Chat Trust status - New Options for Chat Preview. Player Reporting added



Allay



The Allays will dance to a Record in a Jukebox. - If the Allay is given an Amethyst Shard, while dancing it will duplicate. Duplication has a 5-minute cooling down



Sculk Catalyst



- Sculk Catalysts now drop 5 XP instead 20 XP



Chat



- The chat scrollbar was moved to the right. When typing a message, the status of the sign-in for the message will be shown with a colored indicator. The indicator will either appear to the left of the input field or to the left of the chat preview if a chat preview is being used - The indicator will turn blue when the message has been signed. The indicator will be orange when Chat Preview is enabled and the preview is waiting to be signed



Chat Trust Status



Messages that haven't been signed with Secure Chat or have been altered by the server will be marked. Messages without valid signatures or missing signatures will be marked as "Not Secure". Messages marked with "Modified" are messages that are detected to be modified.



- The colored indicator is always visible. The icon is only visible when the chat screen is open



- For modified messages the original secure text will also be displayed in the tooltip



Chat Preview



- Added "When Sending" Chat Preview option to update chat previews only when trying to send a message- To confirm sending a message, a second hit of the Enter/Return key is required - The prior "ON" setting has been renamed to "While Typing"



Player Reporting



Reporting a player who posts abusive messages to the game chat is now possible. The reporter must select chat messages that contain objectionable content and the category of the complaint. This is to give the best context for our moderators to take action. This is accessed via the social interactions screen.



Multiple chat messages can be selected for reporting- Additional chat messages relating to this selection will also be used to give our moderation team more context



- The Report Categories screen has a "Learn About Reporting” button that provides a help article.

Suspensions & Bans



If you've been banned from online play the game will display a warning screen upon starting. The reason for the suspension and the length of time it has been in force will be displayed.



Realms



A message that has been filtered by the Java Realms Profanity Filter now has a yellow marker. Players will be notified when a chat message they send has been completely blocked for one of the Realm's players.



Technical



The chat input box will no longer apply to fonts that have custom glyphs with negative advances, or glyphs with advances higher than 32



Chat Types



Chat types that have been added to the chat_types registry are only used for chat with players, and not system messagesThe game_info and system chat types have been removed



Chat types do not support overlays. Instead the system message should be used to display overlays



- This chat type parameter can be used by the msg_command_outgoing



Components



The run_command click event for text components no longer supports sending chat messages directly- Only commands are supported - This means values now always require a /-prefix - Commands such as /say that result in a signed player chat message are not allowed/tellraw should be used instead.

Chat messages are now cryptographically verified - This is used to verify the context of chat messages in Player Reports



Server



enforce-secure-profile is now defaulted to true for dedicated servers - Insecure chat messages logged in the server are prefixed with a [Not Secure] tag - Custom servers can set their own auto-completion options for regular chat via a new network packet - Custom servers can hide player chat messages from display via a new network packet- This does not delete player chat messages from chat logs

Get the Release



To install the release, open up the Minecraft Launcher and click play! Make sure that your Launcher is set to the "Latest Release" option.
