Ah yes, more login issues. Would be a real shame if we had some sort of... server status page, to inform players on the issue and let them know you're working on a fix... =)



As usual, Jagex will probably post the server status update somewhere on a twitter account. Unfortunately, the majority of players likely do not use twitter or are not scanning Jagex accounts for server status updates. To most, the game is offline with absolutely no explanation.



I just don't get why Jagex repeatedly tells us that they want to communicate better, yet we still don't have a server status page that's updated when these type of problems occur. Other game companies seem to be able to do it, why can't we? Runescape :

Dude what do you expect from a small indie company that is run by 2 friends and an intern, they're doing the best they can, it's not that they're some huge multi million dollar company oh wait hold on a second they are ...

A status/upcoming maintenance section built into the new launcher would be great since everyone will have to use that (eventually).



I would imagine this is their plan and why there’s been no change in their process otherwise



Honest something on just runescape.com would be ideal. and if its too much effort to do page formetting etc (i cant see this being an issue as there should just be a page to copy from) a post on discord announcements too with a "we are aware" alone with twitter and reddit to try and cover all bases. The only consistancy Jagex seem to have, is the appauling way in which they communicate.



I support this idea, one can not assume their player base use other platforms of communications and/or social media. I would rather go to the game source , if available, a status page directly. How difficult would it be to organise and upkeep?



Aside from the log in issues I ask anyone here, with an Account being Locked while Deployed, does anyone know here how long it will take to get a reply back from Jagex? This is my 4th Deployment abroad and 1st time with this issue. I tried to create a Post in actual Runescape on Reddit but it got deleted...

Logging in using the jagex launcher seemed to have no issue for me but that might've been a fluke. Trying to login to a 2nd account by regularly loading a client causes this signing in loop for me tho



Looks like they just tweeted something about it. But yeah this was entirely too inconvenient.



Thanks, I wouldn't have noticed otherwise. Nothing on the RS3 page yet, but it'll probably get retweeted there soon enough like it did for the Jagex Support account.

Where are you seeing the tweet, keep checking their twitter but not seeing anything new



I think we need more people making posts of a screenshot of the login screen with a title along the lines of "uh guys?" "are the servers down for anyone else?" "servers are down guys" "rip servers"



Oh but there is, down detector! Oh what is that? An official jagex solution?
